Where to register a work or creation

To officially register a work or creation with the U.S. Government, one would need to contact the U.S. Copyright Office, a division of the United States Library of Congress located in Washington D.C. Though not needed for actual copyright protection, official registration of one's creative work is recommended and definitely has some inducements and advantages. These advantages, along with a plethora of other information pertaining to copyright registration, including any forms, instructions, and circulars needed to complete registration, can be found by accessing the registration page of the U.S. Copyright Office's website or calling the number listed below.
